In the News…
Earlier this month, the Republican Study Committee (RSC) released a framework on how they plan to work toward balancing the national budget while implementing President Donald Trump’s agenda. The budget outline included proposals to codify the president’s order on birthright citizenship and defund sanctuary cities, while eliminating excessive government spending and regulatory overreach.
Chair of the committee’s Budget and Spending Task Force, Representative Beth Van Duyne said, “It is our fiscal responsibility to not only deliver a balanced budget, but get the federal government out of the way to strengthen the economy so families, small businesses, seniors, and farmers can thrive.”
“The RSC budget reins in Washington’s out-of-control spending and eliminates waste, fraud, and abuse across all levels of the federal government,” said Congresswoman Van Duyne. “We are returning to pre-pandemic levels of spending, advancing pro-growth tax policies, slashing regulatory burdens, and unleashing American energy.”
